Black Friday?

Yea I know I am not that knowledgeable, so i went to google it.. =p

In the US, Black Friday is the Friday after Thanksgiving~ and often it notes the beginning of Christmas shopping season.

Origins of the name. Why not White Friday? Sounds more beautiful in any way.. =.=
The term actually originated in Philadelphia and the heavy traffic on that day. How the link it to Black? It was an implicitness of stressful and chaotic experience from the 1929 Wall Street stock-market crash, which is the Black Tuesday.

JANUARY 1966 -- "Black Friday" is the name which the Philadelphia Police Department has given to the Friday following Thanksgiving Day. It is not a term of endearment to them. "Black Friday" officially opens the Christmas shopping season in center city, and it usually brings massive traffic jams and over-crowded sidewalks as the downtown stores are mobbed from opening to closing.

Then the police and bus drivers in Philadelphia called the day "Black Friday", when the traffic and shopping is busiest. Because on that day, everywhere will be jammed, stores roads and even escalators, so these police and driver called it Black as "They think in terms of headaches it gives them." haha~

Why am I reading about it?

Around half an hour before this post, a Wal-Mart employee in NY has been trampled to death because of a human "stampede", up to 2,000 people shoppers, while in California, two Hispanic male adults were shot to death while shoppers were rushing into the TOYS "R" US. The latter was like the previous Wal-Mart shooting (about a week ago), where they still couldn't detect any outstanding suspect because of the crowd.

Because it is Black Friday!
At Long Island, NY, around 100 people gathered in front of the Wal-Mart at 9-10 pm the day before, at around 11 pm, there were 2-3 hundreds, and until 5 am in the morning when the employees wanted to open the stores, there were 2,000 shoppers waiting. 5 am.. I'd rather sleep. (Just saying.. who knows I'd be one of the early waiting ones..lol) They just couldn't control those shoppers, who even crashed down/apart the door of Wal-Mart. (keganasan.)

On the other hand, in Palm Desert, California, things are still in mystery. Who shot the two men? Why he/she/they shot them? No idea~

Yup. It is a BLACK Friday now.

Commandos in Mumbai are hunting for the LAST gunman!!

Mumbai attacks.

According to CNN and SKY NEWS' photos, those gunmen are so young, only around 20. For me hor, they were like gunmen who held AK-47s and shot like playing screen games. Wonder if they know what they were doing.

The central government said there are 125 dead and 327 injured.

Mumbaikars are voicing complaints about the lack of local police to get intelligence infomation. Later they confirmed the gunmen entered Mumbai through the sea, and they killed a boatman.

So many news on this attack out there. But one caught my attention. CNN's Tweeting The Terror.

If you're that lazy to click on it..

Have you heard about Twitter? Bet you did. Or maybe sort of?

Every 5 seconds, there were about 80 messages/tweets to Twitter.com via SMS with updates on the attacks. Some even sent request finding blood donors to hospital in Mumbai where patients were so needing them. Besides, some Tweeters also helped transcribing the list of dead and injured which was then posted online.

This Twitter thing, had information and updates even faster than TV/radio.
Some who were trapped in Mumbai, or who were nearby, blogged on Twitter about what was happening.

One person from one of the targeted hotels tweeted  "Mumbai terrorists are asking hotel reception for rooms of American citizens and holding them hostage on one floor."

There were also rumors, mostly on the credibility of those messages and photos and videos. And the Indian govenment was also asking tweeters to stop tweeting to avoid compromising security efforts.

Then maybe someone suggested that terrorists were using Twitters to to gain infomation about Mumbai's security forces, people started posting things like "die, die, die, if you're reading this".

But the bad side? For the whole hour after that, people started tweeting in ANYthing. Even estimated things by themselves, some tweets said there were 1,000 dead and injured.

After all, Twitter is like a live update tool. People got news, tweet it, another saw it, retweet it...

If you can imagine the whole thing, an awesome flow.
Not awesome attack! Is awesome-ness of technology, remember? The world is flaaat.
Look how terrorists used the technology like you and me:

***
"So who are the terrorists? That too is unclear. A group calling itself the "Deccan Mujahideen" sent an email to news organizations early Thursday morning claiming responsibility for the attacks. Two of the terrorists spoke to a local news channel, India TV, to air their grievances: "When so many of us were killed, who did anything for us?" a man called Shadullah asked, referring to anti-Muslim riots in northern India in 1992 and 1993. He said he was among seven people holding hostages at the Oberoi but didn't make any specific demands, other than for the release of other "mujahideen" jailed in India and for an end to the persecution of Muslims."
From TIME, here.

A latest news posted in TIME, saying that India's Muslims is in crisis. What kind of?

"A gunman, holed up in Mumbai's Oberoi Trident hotel where some 40 people had been taken hostage, told an Indian news channel that the attacks were revenge for the persecution of Muslims in India. "We love this as our country but when our mothers and sisters were being killed, where was everybody?" he asked via telephone. No answer came. But then he probably wasn't expecting one."

Muslims in India are said to be brought up by a sense of injustice. They have shorter life-spans, worse health, lower literacy levels etc. So after this attack.. will they face worse treatment?

My twin cousins played their beloved PS2 for at least 6 hours  today, and I still could not understand why is that thing so.. addicting.

I don't need to think for topic to blog today, because the sky just gave me one.

=) =)

I like rainy days. If it is a light sprinkling, I like its lightness, can just walk under it without getting wet thoroughly. If it is a heavy rain, I like.. the lightning and thunder! =)

Look at the lightning. The longer it is the more beautiful it is. Like a zero point something seconds camera flash, (for the case that it is at night), you can see the whole place so clear as if it is daytime. Gorgeous. =)

Lightning comes before the thunder. So everytime lightning flashes, the next thing I see is people around me closing their eyes and ears, waiting for the moment I like so much. If what appears is only a small roar, people will just feel relieved, but inwardly, I had a small sigh. If the opposite hits, I can even smile and said wow in my mind. *siao.. who cares~*

Only for a very brief moment, the world is so silent.
Sometimes I got myself standing at the window/door staring at and listening to the rain. syok.
Anyone sells raining and thunder CD? or.. lightning DVD? haha..

I just came back from outside. My mom was driving averagely 30km/h because of the heavy heavy rain. Good for me, I watched quite a lot of natural camera flashing and enjoyed many baby thunder and a few of grandpa thunder. syok. =p

My mom and I had 4 hours making last decision on chair and sofa and.. deng deng~ we are done!! NO MORE furniture stores... phew~ It is a relief because, one of the seller has even told my mom enthusiastically "latex?? rubber ah? oh rubber not good one leh! If children spill water on it, the latex will be hardened! not good!" Then I told my mom, if what the aunty said is real, see, the tyres hor, must be turning hard when it rains. =.= (the only way I can let mother-stream mother to understand science stream theory) I am still hating that aunty. Because of her, I have to almost argue with my mom to prevent her from buying fake stuffs. hmph.

Oh. kidney failure = chronic renal failure. I read a bit about it today, but thanks to the rain I just wanna post about the rain. =p

*I feel like giving my hair some highlight too suddenly*
me : ma~ if i can color my hair hor, highlight brown color would be nice hor?
ma : oh. we don't need color already, already brown.
me : ceh..
me : BUT! now dark brown, highlight light brown leh hor?
ma : *ignore me and, just ignore* =.=

ta ta~

I use that title because I found that more people enter this page through other pages than directly. hehee~ minus those use RSS one.. =.=    And.. it's just like those pamphlets written "pick me, pick me!!" right? lol..

Mama cooked Ginkgo seed/白果 today, with the err.. I think is soya slice (something like that =.=) and barley. OH! and with some Pandan leaves I cut from outside. lol..

I ate quite a few bowls. And I'm happy that I ate quite a few bowls but not a bowl. Because for the whole racking afternoon, we again spent 4-5 hourssss waiting the don't know who to fix the pipe. gahh.. oh er, the link is, waiting is hungry. =.=

Healthy foods? Don't worry, this is not a total blog about those stuffs. Definition of healthy is unknown/never known for me as too many factors have to be considered. What I got in my mind are quite common, mostly. Sometimes, 'more healthy' for me = 'insane' for others. Haha~ used, used.

I still remember those few months when I started my pathway on vegetarian diet. My mom was like.. when we surrounding the dining table, showing a what the-hell-is-wrong-with-you-look (O.O), and sometimes went angry if I 'separated' those foods into with-face and without-face categories, and left the with-face one untouched.

*Hahahaa~..so funny thinking of these now*

Somemore, she once, or in fact more than that, said "don't want eat I won't buy anything already! *angry*" --- After all I got food. Hehee~ And with passing of time and erosion of a thinking that I am siao, now I have sustained apple and cereal and oat etc supply, with my parents eating them too, although not as frequent. =)

Persistence conquers!! - me :P

It's true, on almost everything. (unless you are persisting on a dead to be alive again.. o.o)
And guess what, today, my mom will ask me if I want to go to the organic shop to get ''my thing'', or ask me if I still have apples; my dad will buy organic bread when he can, and pay for me SOMETIMES for cereal and oat.. :D

WHY? - A question, nope.. a cliché, a platitude I like to say hAAaaahhhhhhh on.
Outline okay? My dad suffered from kidney failure years ago - years of dialysis before transplant in China - he changed his eating habit - we changed - I changed (more). Got it? =)
The elaboration is so long that I can't even remember all. (I DON'T even want to =.=)

Picture your mom's daily routine is not just sending you to school but also visiting her husband in the hospital.

At first I wanna say that I would post thing on health issue if I got the.. an epiphany. Haha.. I have just got one people! :) on dialysis - in coming post i guess. If you spend one day with a patient going on dialysis, you'll remember that day forever, if not months/years.

Oh. I recalled something. Yesterday I was finding the, omg what that call.. measuring tape! ya ya, I opened a drawer and, I saw boxes and boxes of medicines, another drawer, packs and packs of them, and another, bottles and bottles of them. Never ever let yourself step on those path, it is going to be a lifetime, like my dad.

Never give up on something that you can't go a day without thinking about. - Unknown

  • All right, I won't give up on my hope to eat BR/HDaaz with my sister again. =.=

  • I won't give up fighting my lazy cells. I guess they are growing rapidly..
  • I won't give up sleeping if I have more time. swt.

I thought of aspartame today. That should sound familiar to many of you. Just grab a SUGAR FREE gum and look over the ingredients list.. ta dah~ you see it. Aspartame is so good right? Gives you sweetness without the sweet sugar.

Many people are still thinking that, high in sugar = not good! = fat = causing diabetes = no way. So, they pick product labelling sugar FREE instead. No sugar = won't turn us fat = no diabetes = great. The fact, or should be inside fact, tells another story and.. Even I would tell you to go for sugar but not sugar free. *unless the sugar free thing is also aspartame free. lol*

If goes into detail, there are more than 90 side effects of aspartame consumption, including death. How much can it causes those? I don't know. One of the list is here. I took a look and the list does look 'common', but I'd agree that long term aspartame consumption can kill.

From a book "The Deadly Deception", there are actually some highlights of aspartame's usage around few decades ago. A few doctors experimented and fed monkeys & mice aspartame and witnessed lethal results. Then, maybe due to mercenery influence (I just pictured this myself), someone called Searle (i hate him! =.=) kept defending that aspartame causes 'no health problems', submitted safety evidence to FDA and guess what, approval was granted.

After that, some doctors actually fought in a hope that ban on aspartame will be implemented. But somehow, still relating to a few FDA officer, these doctors failed. I can imagine how hard it was to see a poison being approved to be sold in the market. So later in year 1984, NutraSweet, or you might be more familiar with same kind product EQUAL, or Diet Coke, Diet Pepsi...  is swallowed by 100,000 people. Because there is no credible link/evidence that can show aspartame cause cancer or brain damage or anything else, complaints were compiled, but aspartame is still in the supermarket.

Again. Choice is yours. Stop and think.
A 2007 news on aspartame.

This is another reason why I need hours to shop for food. Reading all the words on the packing is something enjoyable, at least, for me. :P

I think I am going out tomorrow.. let me think where I can go.
eh. 2009 is near! =.=

*that's the song, don't think too far* =.=

From these few days visits to numerous furniture stores, big stores small stores, neat stores messy stores.. I figured out that hor, aunty aunty can, surprisingly, talk like they had known each other for years/decades even though they were just meeting for the fresh first time. =.=''

My mom is always cute. gahhh~ haha. She used the phrase "that day" twice with hokkien today. Haha~ Well, she is fully hokkien and chinese and pasar Bm educated, so if I heard english words coming out from her, with correct pronunciation, I will wonder where and from whom she learned it from. Anyhow, cute!!! :D

Thanks to some moments of sopor I am sitting here typing these. It sounds so weird telling people, I am sick.. so I NEED TO SLEEP. =.= But that's what that has been bringing me better. I proudly got fever this morning. Since I can't sit with eyes burning and head ailing, I just went to meet sleeping fairy. =) see~ I am good now, plus after having some cordyceps sinensis/冬虫夏草 capsules - the only thing I can find with line "... to relieve cough". =.=

Ahhh~ As far as I know, I am not jobless on December. Thanks to Joey for finding me for replacement. =)  But on the other hand.. oh oh, working will be on weekends, gathering on weekend, prearranged SAMclan trip on weekend, Sunway outing on weekend.. ?!?!! (> <)

*Warning: You can skip this part if it sounds boring.. don't kill me if it bores you, because it excites my interest!! :P  ahh, if I can take food science, food tech..*

I was reading some short articles about natural & organic food today. Because once when I wanted to buy Beetroot oat milk, there were two choices. One from Taiwan and another from er, not stated, but i guess it'd be either NZ/Canada/US (most of the imported organic foods are from these countries). They are both similar, but not the same (lol =.=). But the prices are RM15++ different. Then I learned something, the cheaper one is Natural product, while the other is Organic product. From that onwards I keep wanting to know about "Natural" & "Organic". =)

After some reading, it is said that some natural foods are organic, and some organic foods are natural; but not all natural foods are organic and vice versa. Why organic food costs more than natural food? Isn't natural food better as it is natural? If you say both are the same, you are wrong then.

Organic foods, always refer to those which is produced and manufactured under organic means, and MUST be certified by authorities such as, the most popular one, United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). Meaning, to label one food in your company as "organic", they will have officer from USDA to inspect your farm/wherever you produce the food, determining whether the process agrees with their Organic food Act. Natural food, pula, refers to foods that are not altered chemically.

But in the vast market, buying organic food is much more simpler than buying natural food. The reason is, many food producer likes the word "natural" so much that the labelling turns out deceptive. If this food has natural ingredient in it, some producer will name their product natural, despite many other chemicals the food contains. Or as what you can always see, "natural", "100% natural" or "all natural" etc... are not really natural sometimes.

In many many organic shops, (from what I have been seeing in our country), the amount of natural foods is almost the same/sometimes exceeds that of organic foods. Maybe because of the price, plus until now, i seriously rarely can see a Malaysian product certified Organic. If your fama/yourself do buy healthy foods (sometimes), those with chinese words packaging are mostly from Taiwan; and, they are also mostly (i won't say all) NATURAL food, not organic. So they are more affordable compared to those english labelled ones, which is really organic.

You can say organic food is better because its food production is stringently regulated. But you can also say natural food is better because it is simply natural without any artificial alteration. Up to you~ =) but for sure, i can tell you these are better than processed foods. :D

Oh. For the price, why organic's is higher? Because, for the case of USDA in the States, because it is monitored by the government, organic foods tend to cost more.

I feel guilty sometimes. I didn't read much. I didn't do much. But.. I did sleep much. =.=

Eating steamed potatoes again.. again - Because my mom thought that would be the cheapest food she could get me.. lol.. i think. Something funny.. if you eat a purple sweet potato and a white one at the same time, you get light purple in your mouth. HAHAHA.. =.=

Yesterday with my mom and brother, we went to more than 6 furniture stores, and spent more than 4 hours on those places. It was tiring, very tiring. I started with happy mood as I finally can do something different. =.= But when we reached the 4th store, I am half dead. Hot-die weather, energy-consuming task to find suitable and affordable sofa. FYI, there is NO chair in my house now, besides those in rooms and kitchen. Dahh.. I'd pray my parent will find one that suit soon.

Tahniah. I broke my lifetime record, got sick twice in 3 weeks time. Now I remember on Friday, while activating and registering clients' new phone number, I stood up suddenly and just walked away to the other side, to cough. =.= It was like coughing my lungs out. =.= Yesterday while looking at sofa, my mom gave me a what-the-hell-happened-to-you look, so I just told her "let me cough, ok? hehe" =.= Last night, (luckily I took nap in the evening) I think around 4-5 a.m. I woke up with itchy throat and coughed again. #$%^&!@+...

I was feeling quite down yesterday, with what I can do. I seriously hope I can do more, learn more, achieve more. Where can I start from?

I watched Wall E at home yesterday. Nice movie!! *Eva jie, if you watch/you've already watched this movie, you must be feeling proud because Wall E keep calling your name and finally fall in love with you. :P * I am so outdated.. I wanna watch Madagascar.. and many many more. =|

My family has used all Nokia phones that cost less than Rm600 and about 4 that cost less than Rm850++. lol.

Oh. Friendster gave back all my friends. =)

I er...  ate ice cream despite the killing throat and cough. :P The ice soothes my throat~

Worse.. I ate a small bar (the smallest square =.=) of chocolate. :P

I need motivation. A big one.

Somehow my immune system turned weaker this holiday.. need more sleep maybe? =.='' So I slept at 9p.m. =)

*drinking pineapple flavored Vitagen~*

The buying list is foreseen, from sem2 books to baju kurung to new year shirts to... So overall, I need money. =.= You will understand if you parents say they are not paying you for EVERYthing already.

*can't stop coughing..!! *

I think.. I need some change. Or many many changes.
Where should I start? What could I start with? So much things popped out on my mind lately. The fact that I'm 18 tells me I need to do more for more people. The fact that I'm a sister and daughter tells me I have a family that I have to contribute to. The fact that I am a friend tells me I miss my friend, and I want more friends. =) The fact that it is now end of November tells me I need to use my time wisely.

I wish I have a live planner. Maybe I'd hire one in the future. Because I can't stick to a timetable. =.= I so damn wish I can spend a day facing the sea. =\ Because I need another brain/memory clean-up. I need a new start. I need.

SUNDAY
I finally have a home for allllll the books. Today, I spent an hour ironing my father's clothes. It seemed like NO ONE ELSE is going to do it until he doesn't have any more shirt to wear. =.=''

Then another 3 hours plus was devoted to the storeroom-like room. Tiring but I feel good sitting in a room with only a Dell box that I couldn't punggah because it is too heavy and my boxes - those I use to move myself to hostel. hehee~

I don't know if Friendster will 'give back' all our former friends, thank god I've Facebook. O.O

MONDAY
I work at GreenBox's entrance selling Upax today. Many people. Many songs. :D
Err, at least if compared to Popular's Ipen's ad, at GreenBox entrance only I can watch MTV and listen to many many nice songs. hehee~ But miraculously, I have no time for those entertaiment. We got many clients yesterday because they are like getting FREE sim cards, paying us RM10 and we give them RM10 voucher to spend in GreenBox.

How many clients? er.. I don't have time to take my 1.30 hour break. My lunch was a bottle of Jusco mineral water, and my tea time was an apple at the booth. That's it. =.=

Yiwen Waiyee Sumin YehLing are back from PD!! Thanks for the T-shirt sisterss~ =) Make sure i will meet all of you on Friday!

I feel like I used the time fully yesterday. =.= But.. don't know. I have mixed thinking again.

This song is.. relaxing~

I saw this before my driving test. How good if I own a car with that number... hehe.. hehe.. HAHAHAA~

wakame kombu Pictures, Images and Photos
This is wakame, a type of seaweed, i think. They are cute. Before putting them into water, they could be very small and err.. shabby, but once you put water onto them, they turn flat like green papers. =)

I have no idea why my mom likes seaweed also already. Anyway, this is a good news for me. She likes seaweed > She'll buy it more often > I can eat it more often > good right? :) Seaweed is good people, yes, GOOD.

I sealed a box of cookies again. My job is fun, put them into cute small plastic bag, seal and done. I prefer doing this of course, to punggah punggah big cupboards like yesterday.

If you found yourself dying with can't-open-friendster, they are moving~ So, sabar. News at Here.

Yeap. Went to Milano furnishing centre with my dad and younger sister. In the end we couldn't find a suitable couch.

I met Eva jie and her mom at Aeon today. When she asked if I want to go back and help help at the kindergarten.. My mind was so rojak. =.='' Because, it wouldn't be good if I have to take leave for days that often.. Thanks to her too anyway~ =)

They say this is the Happy Pig Theory:

Human = eat + sleep + work + enjoy
Pigs = eat + sleep
Hence, Human = Pigs + work + enjoy
if, Human - enjoy = Pigs + work
in other words,
Human that don't know how to enjoy = pigs that work
Men = eat + sleep + earn money Pigs = eat + sleep
Hence, Men = Pigs + earn money
if Men - earn money = Pigs
in other words,
Men that don't earn money = Pigs
Women = eat + sleep + spend Pigs = eat + sleep
Hence, Women = Pigs + spend
if, Women - spend = Pigs
In other words,
Women that don't spend = Pigs
Summary:
Men earn money not to let women become pigs.
Women spend not to let men become pigs.
Men + Women = 2 Pigs
Wish all the pigs happy forever. =.='''

In the 22 months since the presidential campaign began, the candidates and pundits have made statements that were stupid, precient, revealing and defining. In honor of the end of this momentous journey, TIME takes a look at some of the most memorable verbal moments of the campaign.

Well, actually i was so blur.

I had better rajin rajin earn more money to pay again.

I PASSED~ :P
Firstly, i was reeeally blur. Because I woke up so so early this morning, and Ah Meng was late!!! So for the whole morning, i spent hours waiting here and there. I ABHOR W-A-I-T!
Driving to the 'bukit' is our first thing (thing... lol). I thought it as a few seconds car trip in a beautiful green village~~ -PIAK!- ok sorry, but I really like that thing, i meant, that part. Because I can have my head out of the car and speed up a bit bit and whooo~ wind will blow on me. :D
The officer did shout something : "Bagus!" =.= I was really =.=.. and i actually HAR-ed to him. =.=
Another 'parking officer', said nothing after i parked the cute car. Because it was Okay and he just asked me to leave~ =) =)
Of course i have to earn more money to pay again, but not to JPJ, is to my wardrobe. :P

My dad's first reaction when I told him I've passed: HAR?! YOU PASS? WHY SO FUNNY ONE? v.V I bu suang, so I asked back if he doubted my ability. hmph.

My mom's first reaction when I told her I've passed: Everything okay ah? me - Hehe. Ok la~ + a smile (well, for me, her 'ok la' always mean SATISFIED. Same reaction for my PMR and SPM. lol)

And then, Ah Meng asked me to asked my mom to give him an ang pao to thank him. =.=

Thank you Beatrice! Yup, i can pass without giving bribes. ;)

Ok, my day is still bright, just that I am sleepy (again). Life after secondary school is really corpulent-able. I think by the time I finished degree, I'd be wearing XL already. =.=

No interesting-to-me news lately... All bombings, earthquakes, hurricanes, here kill there suicide here die there kill more.. I NEED SOMETHING FUN TO READ. =.=

I have date with my sister tomorrow. =) Quite a finally. Because I have been staying at home, on bed, and dating with my laptop. Nothing else/much. =.=

*well i used that title because i can't think of any and i just heard someone singing it in her song.*

Austinians
, kamu tahu tak, right now if i heard words like "burger", "brother", "blogger", "bother" etc.. I will think of the word "bugger". =.=''
I ate two packs of this this week. Nice~ the one of the some snacks i'd eat. But i am sure i will be broke soon if i continue. =.=

Today is another historical day of mine. Amazingly, i need my mom to wake me up and giving me a line of lovely morning greeting, "Ah Meng is waiting outside ahhh~" The first few words I said today "oh my god". It was worse than yesterday. Blame my handphone's alarm!! Somehow it didn't ring. So i woke up at 730 a.m. and walk to the cute Kancil at 740 a.m. =.= Now I know why people say don't drive if you are sleepy. I was sleepy but i was asked to drive. So, I just kept rubbing my eyes to enlarge it to normal size this morning. Luckily i have Mix ans Hitz FM in the cute car. Torturing drive.. how good if i can sleep.. =.=

Tomorrow anytime in the morning, i will be driving with the JPJ orang sitting beside me. =\ Hope i won't fail myself. =.= I MUST NOT!! Wish me luck luck luck~ ;)

And so i spent the whole morning driving aroung Kg Jawa. I came back after 3 hours, boiled a bowl of seaweed for myself, with lotus root soup my mom cooked. (well, if you figure out that i always have seaweed here and there, it is because I can keep seaweed without needing to worry about its expiry date. There was time when my mom bought in few packs of vegetables, but they always end up dying and drying in the refrigerator, plus i can bring seaweed/wakame to anywhere and just put them inside hot water, wait it to 'open'/'flourish' and.. EAT!! lol.. seaweed is not cheap leh.. well, I need chlorophyl. =D )

When you feel bored, and are finding a game in a place where there's none.. you'll play with anything you can find. =.=

I passed by Secret Recipe yesterday and I told myself that i will save $ and buy myself a slice of cheese cake soon. Because this year hor, (shh..) my family is somehow biased (shh shh..), others got cake but not me. hmph. (i am not angry la.. haha) Well, if i can pass the test tomorrow, i will.. will er.. buy myself a purse? watch? (but if i fail.. i really can bang the wall)

*well, if you are free, go and see Kenny Sia's latest post.*

I threw some paper butterflies few days before - good lighter feeling. =)

X

Seeee~ my beloved to-be-eaten Kiwi. =)

Thursday while i was walking in Jusco, i received a sms tellingme i am someone's working partner. My reaction: (before) I just told my mom they gave no response, so i planned to walk walk around to spend my time thinking, (after) now I got the job, and i have to work.. tomorrow!?!!

Yap. And so, the same night, I went to Batu Belah to find another someone who will brief me about the job. When i reached home, it was 11pm ++ and I have to key in few boxes of Sim pack phone numbers. I slept at 1 a.m. - insomnia because I went to bed at wrong time. =.=

The next morning, 7 a.m. I got ready and followed my mom out. To AEON~ This work is funny enough, and leisure enough enough. Why? We are promoting Celcom U.O.X and S.O.X sim pack - only for people from 12 - 25 years old. But then not a veeeery new thing already, so we weren't that busy. I was thinking to get one, maybe.. since we can keep the number until 25 years old and.. it won't expire even though you didn't reload. And ho, the sms and calling rate are the same for all networks. Too bad most clients we have were Malays. Well, Maxis is red. Digi is yellow. Celcom is..purple (Barney!! =.=) which is not a color Chinese prefers.

Maybe because we only have an X all over the leaflet and shirt etc. Many aunties ahpek and ahma do not know we are Celcom, so they see us as Customer Service. =.=
*
Very funny. We are working for Celcom. Yup. But.. from 10 am - 945 pm, I think we have more or less the same number of client buying sim pack ASSumed us as Customer Service counter. Oh ya. Since we are sitting in Popular bookstore, I thought of finding Barack Obama's book, but i think, i want to buy Eclipse!! :P There were a total of 5 aunties and ah pek asked us "Do you know where is the book for children?" "Magazine? Children magazine?" "Erm, where is the primary students' exercise book?" "Children story book, you know?" and finally before I went back, an abunene uncle asked me.. "Excuse me, can you help me on this? I am finding Barack Obama's _____. I had his _____Power already but i'm finding his _____" ( i was =.= enough so i didn't heard what he wants) But then because I looked around Barack Obama's books hours before, so i brought him there, and showed him there is only Audacity Of Hope left. And talked to him for a while. See, i am a good girl. =)

We worked here. Well, sitting there is like staying in Intec library for 10 hours without leaving.
Worsen my cold, kesannya, I have NOT recovered from this husky coarse voice. =(
See the small TV there? We watched that from 10am-10pm. I think i can memorize the whole thing already.
8.. =.=
Back to home. I, of course, went to sleep~
This morning at 7 a.m., I felt better with more sleep. I checked mails, looked around CNN and.. my mom called me suddenly at 730a.m. "Ah Meng is coming ah." me " HAR?" mom "Ah Meng reached already" me " HAR? o.. ok." So in 5 minutes i changed clothes and walked out. Miraculously, he left me the driving seat, I sat there and asked "wah, you have got faith in me hor? I hope I won't send us to heaven." - I haven't been driving for 4 months already. Another miracle, i still know how to drive. =.= Ok, so the 3 hours was like another marathon. I came back with left hand and left leg controlled by a weird feeling.

I left this fellow in my room because i didn't have enough time to finish this before driving. =.=

Not bad~ Ah Meng allowed me to use both hand to put the hand brake!! =D And.. going up and down the small cute hill is really fun. =.=

At 1030a.m., i am at home again. Oh, i won't be working today and tomorrow because I am dead enough with the cute Kancil. =) I helped my mom with packing samples for CNY cookies again. I am so swift and good at doing this. *proud*

I have to rest. Ta ta~
